The Nonlinear and Autonomous Systems Laboratory (NAS Lab) was established in January 2011 by Dr Nina Mahmoudian to develop innovative practical solutions for control of individual and multiple autonomous vehicles in harsh dynamic environments and address challenges that currently limit the use of autonomous vehicles in unknown complex situations.

NAS Lab develops autonomous systems and their control systems while specializing in cooperative control strategies to enhance autonomous systems via redundancy, swarming and robotic synergy.
